Life
I find it quite amazing,
The human egg that’s fertilized
Has all the same genetics
One has when “grown-up” sized.
The father’s bent on music.
The mother’s bright red hair.
The love for art or nature,
They’ll be already there.
And into each and everyone
God breathes an immortal soul.
What will be their destiny,
Only He will know.
Yet some might think it’s not a life
And of little or no worth.
Then choose to stop the progress
Of the unborn baby’s birth.
Others may think it should be used
In a scientific way
To help desease in “other humans”
Be controlled or go away.
It’s fine to delve in science,
I’m sure God wants us to,
But not at the expense of the precious lives
He entrusts to me and you.
